Mission

The mission of the Center for Applied Research and Technology, Inc. (CART) is to produce outstanding applied research and self-sufficient financial returns by providing effective technology contracting, program development, and revenue generation for the School of Engineering Technology (SET) at Bluefield State College (BSC).  CART focuses on innovation through applied research, transferring technologies to markets, continuing education, and building partnerships that enhance the overall competitiveness of our College and the industries of southern West Virginia and southwestern Virginia.
